Have you ever experienced medical uncertainty? Perhaps you've wondered about a diagnosis of treatment plan for you or a loved one. Our partnership with Teladoc gives you and your family members access to the best medical minds in the world to help you make medical decisions with confidence.
Teladoc's confidential services are available at no extra charge to participants of the RTOERO Extended Health Care Plan and their children (regardless of age), parents and parents-in-law. Your children, parents and parents-in-law do not have to be insured under the plan to be eligible for Teladoc services.

Expert Medical Opinion - A confidential process that complements the care you receive from your physician by providing a second expert review and bringing greater certainty to your diagnosis and treatment plan.
Find a Doctor - Teladoc will help you find a specialist by taking into account your unique medical history and geographic location, matching you with the right doctor for your condition. They can help identify specialists such as internists, cardiologists, neurologists and more.
Care Finder - If you choose, Teladoc can locate treatment from a specialist outside of Canada. They will coordinate a search of their global database of over 50,000 physicians in more than 450 specialists and subspecialities to find the expert(s) best suited to your needs.
Personal Health Navigator - Receive customised information, resources and contacts for a variety of health topics, giving you peace of mind that you are making well-informed decisions about your health care.
Medical Records e-Summary - Teladoc collects up to 3 years of your medical records and conveniently provides it to you as a digital file. A medical expert will also review them and provide you with a Health Alert Summary, bringing any potential health concerns to your attention.

RTOERO Scholarships
RTOERO believes in the power of our community to secure a better future, and we are committed to helping secure better futures for students, for each other, and for seniors in Canada. One of the ways we work towards achieving this goal is through our post-secondary scholarship program, established with reference to our strategic goal: To improve the lives of members and seniors.
This year, RTOERO is awarding 20 scholarships valued at $3000 each to post-secondary (college or university) students enrolled in programs that lead to a career either in education or seniors health and wellbeing.
RTOERO members are encouraged to recommend students in their lives, including family members, who meet the criteria.

Please keep in mind our health care workers & all essential workers in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. The sacrifices, which they are making in order to ensure our safety and well-being, should never be forgotten!
